AirPad turns whatever you capture — voice, photos, notes, links — into a living object of its own. No account. No cloud. Just yours.

philosophy
AirPad was built on a few commitments that most software quietly abandoned.
There's nothing to sign up for and no server on the other end. Nothing you capture ever touches ours — because we don't have one.
Your corpus lives as plain files in your own iCloud Drive. Back it up, copy it, walk away with it. It was never locked in to begin with.
AirPad's intelligence suggests; you decide. Nothing is ever silently written into your thinking on your behalf. And it isn't AI bolted onto a notes app — you'll see.
quikcapture
Ideas don't wait for you to open an app. Press the Action Button or tap the Lock Screen widget, speak or snap or type, and you're back to your life. AirPad does the filing.
One press from anywhere, straight into capture. (iPhone 15 Pro and later.)
The same instant capture, on every iPhone.
Send links, pages, and media in from any app.
objects
Everything you capture becomes an object — a flexible container that holds voice, images, video, text, links, and documents together, and grows as your thinking does.
Some of these only belong in an app that never phones home.
the librarian
Most apps bolt AI on and call it intelligence. AirPad's intelligence has a posture: it knows your corpus, provides context and reference, and synthesizes from what you've actually thought — reaching for tools and the web when you ask it to.
The Librarian reads what you've captured. Its answers start from your thinking, not the internet's.
Chat with the Librarian about a single object or your whole corpus. It can search the web and use tools when the question calls for it.
Runs on Apple Intelligence, entirely on your iPhone. Prefer a frontier model? Bring your own key — traffic goes straight from your device to your provider.
Any iPhone running iOS 18 can pair with AirPad Host on your Mac and get the full Librarian chat over a private, end-to-end encrypted connection. Automatic titles and summaries still need an Apple Intelligence device — we'd rather tell you that than pretend.
instant search
AirPad reads your images, extracts what's inside your documents, and understands your links — so search finds the thing you mean, even when you don't remember what you called it.
backlinks
Link any two objects and the connection holds in both directions — a web of your ideas, asserted by you. AirPad surfaces connections it notices, but suggestions stay suggestions until you make them yours. If you're coming from Obsidian, you'll feel at home.
organize
placeholder copy — pending Views / Collections / Galleries definitionsCollections to group your thinking, Views to see it from different angles, Galleries to live inside the visual side of it. [Each of these gets a real sentence once defined.]
what's next
AirPad on iPhone is just the first surface.
The corpus at desk scale. In development now.
An optional service for people who want more than iCloud Drive — coming after launch.
The Librarian, looking over your shoulder: "you've been thinking about A, and this connects to B in a way you might not have considered." In design — we'll ship it when it's genuinely good.
